Lissette Tellado is an artist based in Rockford, Illinois, graduating from Northern Illinois University with a BFA in Illustration. She works across a variety of mediums, including acrylic paint, dry pastel, charcoal, and digital platforms such as Procreate and Adobe Creative Suite. Her work is influenced by film and visual storytelling, with a focus on poster design and graphic composition. Tellado has created alternative film posters, including for the short film NEX-IS-US, and designed posters and playbills for productions such as Sorry, Wrong Number, Little Shop of Horrors, and Big The Musical. She was also selected as one of the winners for the IceHogs Local Hat Series contest, where her logo— inspired by Steamboat Willie—was featured on a hat completely designed by her as well as the team’s 90th anniversary jersey. Tellado continues to develop work that merges narrative and design, with a focus on poster and brand development.
